Sup guys. So I just noticed that when distributing points you can invest into PvP only stats. So does this mean that if you really want to be strong in PvE you will have to sacrifice PvP and vice-versa?

Sup guys. So I just noticed that when distributing points you can invest into PvP only stats. So does this mean that if you really want to be strong in PvE you will have to sacrifice PvP and vice-versa? I see this causing problems late game. I really wanna get into PvP later on but then I don't want to invest in PvP stats and struggle getting through the game's PvE. Clarification will be appreciated

 

So I found out that investing into PvP growth stats will leave you at a big disadvantage in PvE, and investing into PvE will leave you at a disadvantage in PvP...So what I want to know is: Why did they make the game like this? This means that you can't enjoy both PvE and PvP aspects of the game fully. You have to decide right at level 1 whether or not you're character will be a PvP'er or a PvE'er. It really restricts late game, don't you guys think?

 

Once I hit max level, I want to do PvE(dungeons) to farm for gear, etc, which would be used for PvP and war shenanigans so that I can test out the character that I worked hard to farm for and see which item build works best for me. However, with this stat system, I'm not allowed to enjoy both fully because I know that I will be at a disadvantage no matter what (whether I chose PvE route or PvP route). I think this is the first MMO that has ever did this, which really puzzles me. End-game will become very repetitive and linear since we're restricted to one thing (of course, you can choose to PvP but you'll probably get your butt wooped by PvP focused characters even if you have worked for better gear).

 

Maybe there's something I don't know about. Anyone else think this system is pretty messed up?

People judging CABAL 2 way too fast

Cabal 2 just got released in NA and is in OBT, of course it'd be like that at end game like every game are at the start. Just like Cabal 1 game got boring at end game at the start of the release because no updates so we just gotta keep playing/ farm gears level up crafting till new updates come.

Cabal vs Cabal 2

Cabal 2 is a breather of fresh air. Cabal1 didn't really have much going for it besides the fancy skills which btw you couldn't really appreciate to the fullest because a lot of the times you dedicated your time to staring at the combo bar
